50w Fiber Laser Marking Machine

The 100W fiber laser works at 1064nm, and it is very good at removing material fast. It can engrave serial numbers, deep tool marks, and logos that you can feel, to depths of 1.5‑2.0mm on soft steel in one pass, and up to 3‑4mm with many passes. This is useful for stamping dies, mold cavities, and heavy machine ID plates that must survive a lot of wear. The machine also does surface texturing and black annealing very quickly. For aluminum, the 100W makes bright, clean engravings without the reflectivity problems that lower powers have. On hardened tool steel (HRC 60+), the 100W cuts through the hard surface to make permanent marks.

One of the most useful features of the 100W cabinet machine is that it can cut thin metal sheets directly. This turns it from a marking tool into a light fabrication tool. Typical cutting thicknesses are stainless steel up to 2.0mm, soft steel up to 2.5mm, aluminum up to 3.0mm, and brass or copper up to 1.5mm. You cut by using many passes or by changing focus and power settings. The edges are clean, and there is very little left‑over material. You can cut gaskets, prototype parts, electrical boxes, nameplates, and stencils. So for job shops that sometimes need to cut thin metal, the 100W means you do not have to send the work out or buy a separate laser cutter.

With 100W of laser power, safety is even more important. The GRT‑100WFL cabinet is made of thick welded steel with shielding all around. Two locked doors stop the laser beam right away if you open them while it is running, so the operator is safe from Class 4 laser exposure. The built‑in exhaust system is stronger than lower‑wattage models, and it handles the extra smoke and dust from deep engraving and cutting. A window with laser‑safe glass lets the operator watch the work safely. Emergency stop buttons are on both the front panel and the side. For factories that must follow OSHA, CE, or other safety rules, this closed machine is the one that follows the rules.

The GRT‑100WFL cabinet has a large inside space, usually 600mm wide by 600mm deep. So it fits big metal parts like engine blocks, molds, or factory tools. The marking area can be changed with different lenses, from 200mm x 200mm up to 500mm x 500mm, depending on the job. The Z‑axis lift is motorized, so you can set focus exactly, and it moves 400‑500mm. That means it can handle tall parts, or the laser head can move out of the way for loading. The work table is thick aluminum with T‑slots for clamping things. You can also put a rotary attachment inside the cabinet to mark round parts up to 200mm wide and 500mm long.

For production lines, the 100W machine is very fast. Marking a 2cm x 2cm logo on stainless steel takes less than 1 second. A full part number plate that takes 10 seconds on a 20W machine, 6 seconds on a 50W, and only 2 seconds on the 100W. Deep engraving of a 1mm deep mark that needs 8 passes on a 30W might only need 2 passes on the 100W, so cycle time goes from 40 seconds to 10 seconds. Over a full shift, that means thousands more parts. So for contract makers and high‑volume metal shops, the 100W pays for itself quickly.

Wholesale buyers often need to understand where 100W fits. The 50W cabinet is good for normal marking and light engraving. The 100W is for deep engraving, cutting thin metals, and fast production. The next step up, 200W or higher, is for cutting thick metal (over 4mm) and very fast removal, but it costs much more and needs water cooling. The 100W is the sweet spot. It uses air cooling (no chiller), fits in a desktop‑sized cabinet, and has enough power for 90 percent of factory metal marking and light cutting jobs. So it is the most popular power level among serious metal shops.

The GRT‑100WFL runs EZCAD software, and it works with lower‑power models but has more settings for deep engraving and cutting. The software has automatic power ramping for cutting, so the laser uses less power at corners to stop burning. The red light preview is still accurate even at high power. For batch work, the machine has external ports for conveyor belts, bar code scanners, and foot pedals. Even with high power, the smallest line width is still 0.02mm, and repeat accuracy is ±0.02mm, so you can still do fine detail work.

Unlike many high‑power fiber lasers that need water coolers, the GRT‑100WFL uses advanced air cooling with many fans and heat sinks. So you do not have the maintenance and leak risks of water‑cooled systems. The laser source is a real Raycus or JPT 100W part that lasts 100,000 hours. The scanning head is a high‑power version from Sino‑Galvo, made to handle the energy load. The cabinet has dust filters and a sealed electrical box. CE certification is normal. The machine uses about 1.2kW at most, which is still reasonable for factory equipment.
